為大選提前開學 教部：待討論

明年大選日可能撞期大學期末考，行政院考慮協調各大學提前開學，教育部次長陳德華今天表示，待下週中選會確定時程後，將找各校討論因應方式。

民主進步黨籍立法委員李昆澤今天在立法院質詢時表示，依中央選舉委員會規劃，明年總統、立委合併選舉可能在期末考前的1月9日或1月16日投票，影響青年學子返鄉投票意願，希望大專院校下學期開學日提前。行政院長毛治國表示，會請教育部協調各大學，最終決定在各大學，但會朝這個方向努力。

教育部次長陳德華表示，會盡快找學校討論。目前要先等待中選會確定大選時間，據瞭解下週會開會討論，時間一旦確定，就會召集各大專校院，確定如何配合和因應。

按現行規定，大學學期的開始、結束不像中小學有明確日期，而由各校自主，但要求每學期需上課18週。
