國內患3項以上慢性病長者　比率近5成

【沈能元／台北報導】衛生福利部國民健康署今公布國民健康訪問調查結果， 86.2％長者自述曾經醫師診斷至少有1項慢性病，同時患有3項以上慢性病的長者，比率則近5成。國健署表示，慢性病不僅影響長者身體功能，還會危及心理健康。
 
國健署慢性疾病防治組組長陳姿伶說，國民健康訪問調查為每4年調查1次，最近1次調查於2009年。當時調查發現，近9成長者至少有1項慢性病，有慢性疾病的長者，也有較高憂鬱傾向；調查也發現15.1%長者有憂鬱傾向，男性約13％、女性約17.2％。
 
陳姿伶說，調查顯示罹患癌症、中風、心臟病、慢性腎臟病及糖尿病的長者，有憂鬱傾向的比率分別為40%、30.5％、25.9％、20.7％、19.7％。醫學研究也顯示，長者雖有慢性病，但若能在身體、心理和社會三方面保持活動和活力，就較能維持體力和功能，讓長者還是能獨立自主、不必靠人照顧。
